Awareness Workshop on “Outcome Based Education & Accreditation”

An Awareness Workshop on “Outcome Based Education (OBE) and NBA Accreditation” was organised on 13th May 2026 at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, Faridabad by Haryana State Higher Education Council in collaboration with the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the Department of Technical Education, Haryana. The workshop aimed to strengthen institutional preparedness for accreditation, quality assurance, and implementation of learner-centric reforms aligned with NEP 2020, AICTE guidelines, and NBA standards. Prof. Kailash Chandra Sharma, Chairperson, Haryana State Higher Education Council and Sh. Prabhjot Singh, IAS Director General Technical Education, Haryana participated in the inaugural session.
Expert sessions were conducted by Dr. Anil Kumar Nassa, Member Secretary, NBA; Prof. Sanjay Agrawal, Dean(Academic Affairs), NITTTR Bhopal; and Prof. R.V. Ranganath, Dean (Academics),M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru, covering NBA accreditation processes, OBE assessment methodologies, Washington Accord, and preparation of Self-Assessment Reports(SAR). The workshop witnessed active participation from IQAC Directors, Deans, Principals, and faculty representatives from state-funded universities and engineering colleges across Haryana.
