Facilitator Development Programme (FDP) on Employability Skill

The Haryana State Higher Education Council (HSHEC), in coordination with Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya (BPSMV), Sonipat, and in collaboration with Wadhwani Foundation – Skills Development Network (SDN), organised a Facilitator Development Programme (FDP) on 03 September 2026 at Sonipat, Haryana.

The programme commenced with the inaugural session, which included the welcome address by Prof. Sudesh Chhikara, Vice-Chancellor, BPSMV, followed by addresses by Prof. Kailash Chandra Sharma, Chairperson, HSHEC. An introduction to the FDP was also delivered by Sh. Raman Handa, Director, Wadhwani Foundation (SDN).

The FDP sessions focused on strengthening the capabilities of trainers through a recap of the programme, orientation on platform features and LMS functionalities, assessments, feedback, and an exit test. The programme also included Teach Back Sessions, comprising demonstrations, mock sessions, reflections, and evaluation of trainers through prescribed rubrics.

The programme concluded with a takeaway address by Prof. Sudesh Chhikara, Vice-Chancellor, BPSMV, followed by the vote of thanks delivered by Prof. R.S. Rathore, State Project Director, HSHEC
